A good go to restaurant for groups or family gatherings. Wide selection buffet to feed just about anyone. Always good fried chicken. Loved our server she kept checking regularly and super friendly.

Food quality has went down. We're picky what we eat. No pork or fried foods that are fried with shellfish. Most NC restaurants break the law about that. Didn't even fool with asking them. But if you have shell fish allergy ask before riskng eating anything fried everywhere.

The food was okay, no where near worth how much it costs. almost $40 for two people is WILD.
From Spartanburg SC, on my way up to the mountains to go camping--thought I would stop and check this place out. Friday afternoon 1100--lunch buffet. This place is obviously well-managed--super organized and efficient paying on the way in. Great service and the dining room was spotlessly clean. The buffet was well stocked and everything was fresh; great salad bar with lots of items. I must admit I am not a big fan of southern/comfort food, but everything I sampled was good, including fried chicken and fried fish. Did I mention the dessert bar? Me thinks this must be a local institution around these parts as it is too far from the interstate to attract much out of town traffic. If I lived in Morganton, I would be happy to have this place as a regular haunt. Good job.
