Me and my dad used to visit this place all the time in the mornings. I loved it growing up. Went here yesterday with my boyfriend, New Year’s Eve, was completely unaware they were closing 7 hours early at 2pm. I ordered my food and had previously requested some hot sauce but none was given. I asked again later, and our waitress rolled her eyes at me, went to another waitress and complained about our being there after 2pm (maybe 3-5 minutes after), and my request. Saying we will have to leave. She came back after a minute, slammed the condiments on the table, and threw a box down that I never asked for saying she’s sorry but they’re closing. I’ve never once been treated so poorly here. I understand it’s the holidays, but this kind of behavior is unacceptable.

My wife had the fish plate and I had the ribeye dinner. The food was horrible. Fish was straight from a box pre breaded, with everything being overcooked. The steak was blackened, not by choice, with absolutely no seasoning. It was a waist of money and time.

Stopped on Friday morning after Thanksgiving while traveling. Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I've had in a very long time. Waited a long time for food only to have something wrong with all three orders in our party. And every item was stone cold. Saw orders from other tables returned as cold too. Our waitress disappeared and i had to ask twice for a check. Will never stop there again.

I am editing my review since Westend took over. Service has went down. One of their best waitresses has quit and you can tell that in how long it takes to be served. The quality of food they've changed how they do things. Their hash browns are different. Their sausage is different. Nothing tastes like it was. And it's not in a good way.

I am not very pleased with West End Diner. The Philly cheese steak barely had any meat/peppers on it. The french fries were minimal at best. The service was not great, waitress did not come back to check on table until we were finished with our food. We won’t be back.

Food wasn't good. I got the country fried steak with gravy and the gravy tasted like it was from a can. Even the ketchup I used for my fries tasted odd.

Absolutely disgusting! I walked in the door with my dad at a normal morning time only 9 people working. There was not a lot of people and waited 10 minutes to be seated, then had our food finally ordered but waited 15 minutes as we saw our orders sitting underneath a heat lamp and next to wash bin wear I saw a cook take his filthy hands touch our food and place back on the grill and back on to the plate, this place needs to be condemned. You can’t just rename a diner and think the food will ever be good. I went work and noticed I had bowel movements and almost had to go to the hospital. The server never cared to check in on us. I don’t want to give this place any stars or credit for their lousy and horrible service.
