Waited a long time before anyone came to seat me. Long wait for server, long wait for food. Fish was cold as well veggies. Slow on drink refills. Not a place I would recommend.

Today, we (my friend and me) had an early dinner at the Cracker Barrel in Morgantown, NC. We enjoyed our food!! The cornbread was exceptionally delicious!! Our waitress, Carrie, represents Cracker Barrel so well!! She is pleasant, knowledgeable and made us feel that she truly enjoyed making our experience a good one!!
She is a jewel!! Hold on to her!!!

Our server gave us very poor service. She took a while to come and take our order. We had a party of 6. So after maybe 30 minutes or more, we got our food. It wasn't that busy that night. We did not get our biscuits or cornbread until we finished our food and that was because we had to ask for them. In the meantime we were trying to get her attention, but she was too busy talking to a couple beside us. We are not persons to complain, but honestly she does not need to be a waitress if she does not even have the attitude to attend customers.
I'm hoping maybe she was having a bad day and she is not always like this. We love Cracker Barrel and usually go in the morning or for lunch, but this visit we thought we would have our Christmas with part of our family.

Horrible survice.. Will not be going back. Waitress actually jurked the menu out of my mother-in-laws hands. She had food missing from her order, and the Waitress didnt want her to read what came with the menu. Went 6 months or so ago and the meatloaf was sliced 1/8 to 1/4 thick. Horrible meals.

Eating at Cracker Barrel is always a pleasant experience. The food is consistently good. Waitstaff associates are always pleasant and helpful.

The chicken and dumplings were very good. The fried apples were great. The hash brown casserole was not bad. The mashed potatoes with the white gravy were horrible. The gravy had a very distinct strong burnt taste rendering them not fit to eat. The coke was completely flat. It was very bad. I told the waitress and had her change it to a sprite, but it was flat also. You could shake the drink and not a single bubble. For $3.49 the drink should be good. Very disappointing experience overall.
