What a great find. We live in the Charlotte area, and our friends live in Ashville. Morganton is a great middle place for us to meet. Our friends had suggested meeting at Las Salsas, and I'm so glad they did. To start, I was so excited to see that the chips came with bean dip. I love that!! However, my husband loves salsa, but no worries, they have a self-serve salsa bar. But a couple of them were a little too spicy for him! 😄 Next, we ordered drinks, I had a Pina Colada, made fresh, not from a machine, and my husband had one of the margaritas. I loved the pina colada. However, it was too filling for the amount of food that came next. My husband said the margarita was good, but not as good as he hoped. Now the food...OMG! The portions are huge! We all had food left to take home for lunch the next day. 😋 My husband ordered the carnitas fajitas and hands down it was the biggest and best meal at the table. It was some of the best carnitas I have tasted. I ordered a tamale, crispy shredded beef taco with rice and beans, and loved all of it. Nice portion of meat to masa in the tamale, but that beef taco was one of those items you eat and then want it again the next day and the next day and so on! My friends' chicken enchiladas were huge and she said very good!! I forget what her husband ordered, but he was smiling the whole time!! This is a place where I can't wait to go back to again.

Great food! Great service! Fun time! Caritas fajitas were amazing as was the shredded beef tacos!
The big foot burrito is the best on the menu. 2 people can indulge and have some left to take home. It was embarrassingly huge and got everyones attention. A 10 out of 10.

This is one of the first restaurants that we tried when we moved to NC. Although NC Mexican food is very different than CO Mexican food, I love the choices, they have a great selection of salsas that is help yourself , their enchiladas are great and their shredded beef tacos are stuffed with meat.

Was in town for work and several places were suggested but we chose this one...the spicy burrito was the absolute best I have ever had (added queso)...the other person was very pleased with their meal as well!!! I love the salsa bar with several to chose from. And sooooo much food for your money
