If your trying to keep to portion control in your eating this place is not for you! The amount and quality were LARGE and outstanding!! I make a mean Brussels Sprouts myself but the ones at Postero were O-U-T O-F T-H-I-S W-O-R-L-D!! The Broccoli Cheddar soup was divine. And I can't remember having a better Shrimp Scampi. Again my only "problem" was the size of the portions and the quality. We were already planning on what to order out next time there! I only wish...
As always, a wonderful meal, Postero never disappoints. They are consistently outstanding in choices and service. I had the steak option which was the short rib and husband had the cornmeal crusted trout. I have to go back soon for the duck confit pot pie before it leaves the menu!
We were early for our reservation but they seated us right away. If you don't have a reservation, you should get there early to grab a spot at the small bar or at the high top tables. Our server, Elizabeth, was great. She was attentive throughout our meal, made sure we had everything we needed and never rushed us. The oysters and our main courses were delicious but we've never had a bad meal at Postero so this should go without saying.
