Atmosphere is what you expect...had to wait a while before anyone even said anything as I stood there...many of the employees were on break or something...I didn't see the cook or 3 of the waitresses while I stood there for about 10 minutes before someone even acknowleged my presence...shortly thereafter everybody got back from a dinner break maybe...got a grilled bacon and cheese sandwich with a small bowl of the worst textured and ickiest tasting Chilli I have ever put in my mouth! The bacon grilled cheese sandwich was faily good, but if they would actually slice some velveeta off a block instead of velveeta slices, it would have been much better! Cheese was only partially melted.Could have toasted on the grill another minute per side. Price was o.k., but not great because I couldn't eat the chili.

Wish I could give a better review. Walked up to the bar at 10:23 p.m. The dining room was half full there was three ladies working behind the bar. I Set for approximately 2 minutes looked at least two of the workers dead in the eyes and did not receive a greeting nor a menu. I enjoyed listening to their conversations while being ignored. I was sitting at the bar 5 ft away from the three workers. Ended up just leaving, unfortunately fast food has better service than a sit down restaurant at this point. Incredibly pathetic. I will not recommend it to anyone, and will make sure to share my horrible experience with as many people in Morganton as possible.

Parking: My son loves Waffle House. I use it as a reward for being good at school. The staff here are awesome and very friendly, which makes such a change from some other restaurants. The food was served quickly and hot. We are going back this weekend as long as my son behaves at school.
Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place and give a shout-out for Jamie. He said my lady is not here, then his face literally lit up, and he said, "There she is" it made his day. The place was full, but she still had time to say hi and bye.
