“I dropped in on a whim and ended up having hot pot!

Chengdu classic spicy broth, premium beef, vegetable assortment, spam, shrimp paste, and potatoes.

First off, the “vegetable medley” was mostly lettuce. If I wanted lettuce I could have just ordered lettuce for 1/3 the price. Don’t get this.

The rest was great. They were out of quail eggs, unfortunately. The portions were pretty large - lots of spam. The premium beef was a little pricey for the quantity but I loved the fattiness and flavour. The shrimp paste was generous. The serving utensils it came with were novel to me.

The server seemed very concerned about my ordering of the medium spicy broth. It was spicy, but quite tolerable.

It was a very Asian place. I didn’t feel English was first priority but I managed to switch the tablet to English and that helped.

“Staff clearly knows what's gluten free, happily points it out on the menu and at the dipping sauce station. Dipping sauce station is super clean and appeared free of contamination, no mixing of ingredients/sauces. Vegan options are obvious on the menu, and plentiful. Service was stellar, and soooo was the food! This is is my new favorite, hands down. Show up hungry, the servings are generous.“

“Excellent food fresh,hot and fast. Cooked to order. Very friendly staff. Offered range of items wife got a chicken cutsu bento box, I got a yellow curry with beef, son-in-law got a spicey general tso chicken and daughter got a spicey seafood soup all excellent a d flavorful. Worth a trip if you are in the area. Happy eats. :)“
