“We came in to visit some friends and they recommended this place for brunch. It was absolutely AMAZING! They were really quick to get our food out to us and our server was very kind and attentive. I got the brisket and grits brunch option and WOW! The brisket was perfect and I'm typically pretty picky about meat quality. I also order grits anytime I go out to breakfast/brunch, because they are my favorite, and these were hands-down some of the best I've ever had! The only ones that came close were what I've had in New Orleans. 10/10 would come back to Durham just for this restaurant! We also got the beignets and my partner got the eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes + blue crab! Everything was delicious! I just truly cannot emphasize enough how I will be dreaming of their brisket and grits until I can come back again.“

“Fried chicken, greens and mac & cheese. Chicken fried to order deli y. Greens seasoned well added a splash of vinegar. Mac & cheese creamy and awesome flavor. Bug juice, like I remember as a child (a little too sweet for the adult me), still good though. Food was hot, the way food be. Everyone was very friendly, staff as well as patrons. “My sister and her family took me there for my birthday brinner and it was very tasty. Danielle the waitress was amazing. The mgr who shares my birth sign of virgo brought me a tasty dessert to celebrate and was very social and accepting even after a table of 7 walked in at 8:00pm. (Thank you) We had never been to any of the locations before and we decided to try this tonight. Everyone left extremely pleased with their selections all the way down to the ice tea and the virgin Bloody Mary. We all agreed we would be returning just not on weekend where it is 1 1/2 hr wait. 😳 Glad to have flying biscuit in the neighborhood. “family went a few days ago for the very 1st time. Upon entering the hostess sat us at a table. There wasn't much of a crowd.and we did not have to wait. Once seated NOT.1 person came.to.our table to greet us, give water,etc. We waited over 10 mins and STILL no service. We got up and exited. We will never come back to this establishment and will NOT recommend either. Disappointed.“

“I am shocked that I am giving a five star review to Bojangles. I placed an order in advance for 20 breakfast/chicken biscuits. I was so surprised when they were ready when I got there. I don’t know why I just didn’t expect it. I can’t really speak to the food because I did not eat it was delivering it to the staff of a senior care community and they seemed quite happy with it. They were professional when I placed the order and they took all the relevant information. I was very impressed overall.“

“I don’t come here often but when I did today, they didn’t have any BoRounds available and had to be cooked. I was waiting 5 min at the edge of the drive thru area and after about 10 dollars, the manager “Angelo”, came out with my food and apologized and provided me a reasonable credit for my wait. He acknowledged their delay and made sure I was pleased. This was done right in a day when most customer service is gone. Great job.“

“had been a few years since I had gone to Rise. didn't realize that the entire franchise had changed..now, very few donuts and a horrible and impersonal way of ordering. the apple fritter tastes like it was baked yesterday or at the very least 5 hours ago. even Dunkin donuts might be better and that's not saying much. RISE used to have the best donuts. they were unique and tasted fresh. not so anymore. I wouldn't return. I find it weird to order on a computer and pick up your food from a box with a door on it and then they deem to suggest you tip them for....for what? making the food that they already get paid to make? it's not like they're making waitress wages. I guess they're more known now for their biscuits, but either way...I wouldn't return based solely on the ordering experience.“
