“We came in to visit some friends and they recommended this place for brunch. It was absolutely AMAZING! They were really quick to get our food out to us and our server was very kind and attentive. I got the brisket and grits brunch option and WOW! The brisket was perfect and I'm typically pretty picky about meat quality. I also order grits anytime I go out to breakfast/brunch, because they are my favorite, and these were hands-down some of the best I've ever had! The only ones that came close were what I've had in New Orleans. 10/10 would come back to Durham just for this restaurant! We also got the beignets and my partner got the eggs Benedict with fried green tomatoes + blue crab! Everything was delicious! I just truly cannot emphasize enough how I will be dreaming of their brisket and grits until I can come back again.“

She is a picky eater and she talked about was the Cajun Catfish. Here we are 2 wks latter, with other family members and we all were thoroughly pleased with those at the front counter to everything we ate. I had the flounder combo with 2 sides (collards and candied yams). I opened up my dinner and I know I wasn’t going to finish it all because there were 3 nice size pieces of fish. I started eating before you know it all was gone. That’s how good the food was. When we’re back in town we will definitely be back & we have more family members accompanying us as well.“

The mgr who shares my birth sign of virgo brought me a tasty dessert to celebrate and was very social and accepting even after a table of 7 walked in at 8:00pm. (Thank you) We had never been to any of the locations before and we decided to try this tonight. Everyone left extremely pleased with their selections all the way down to the ice tea and the virgin Bloody Mary. “family went a few days ago for the very 1st time. Upon entering the hostess sat us at a table. There wasn't much of a crowd.and we did not have to wait. Once seated NOT.1 person came.to.our table to greet us, give water,etc. We waited over 10 mins and STILL no service. We got up and exited. We will never come back to this establishment and will NOT recommend either. Disappointed.“

“If you're craving comfort food done right, this Bojangles hits the spot every time. From the moment I walked in, I could tell this location had its act together. It was clean, efficient, and had that familiar welcoming fast food vibe.

But what really stood out was the food itself. The chicken was hot off the fryer, crispy, and perfectly seasoned. It had an irresistible crunch and flavor that only Bojangles can pull off. No skimping on seasoning here. Each bite was savory and satisfying.

And let’s talk about the fries. They were perfectly crispy and golden. They tasted like they had just come out of the deep fryer. I added a sprinkle of extra Cajun seasoning which kicked the flavor up a notch and paired them with a side of ranch dip. The combo was pure magic.

“had been a few years since I had gone to Rise. didn't realize that the entire franchise had changed..now, very few donuts and a horrible and impersonal way of ordering. the apple fritter tastes like it was baked yesterday or at the very least 5 hours ago. even Dunkin donuts might be better and that's not saying much. RISE used to have the best donuts. they were unique and tasted fresh. not so anymore. I wouldn't return. I find it weird to order on a computer and pick up your food from a box with a door on it and then they deem to suggest you tip them for....for what? making the food that they already get paid to make? it's not like they're making waitress wages. I guess they're more known now for their biscuits, but either way...I wouldn't return based solely on the ordering experience.“
