My husband walked in, nobody came to help him. We walked back in a second time. There were 3 people in the back who clearly saw us waiting and once again no one acknowledged us so we walked out.
They missed a sale

So disappointed and unhappy to write this review. i do not like to write negative reviews but I had to get this one off of my chest.
I only get to eat Coconut Cake once a year on my birthday. After extensive research, since we were going to be in Mount Airy, it seemed that Miss Angels was the place to get it...
The lady that waited on us at the counter was a little snappish in her response to me when I asked her about the Coconut Cake. She seemed hurried and distracted. Then when I told her it was my birthday I received nothing in her response. I was not expecting a huge shout of congratulations but she could have at least acknowledged my occasion.
The cake was in a little small pan, which was ok with me, but there was very little coconut sprinkled on top of the frosting. The cake was very dry and had literally no moisture in it at all. So sad about this today.

It has been a few years since I have gone to Miss Angels Heavenly Pies, but I took my wife and friends for their first times. It did not disappoint. We walked out with my favorite apple pie with crumb top, strawberry rhubarb, and chocolate cream pie. We also had muffins and my wife got a small peppers and sausage pot pie and I got a chicken pot pie to start the day. We went next door to her ice cream shop and ate there......we will be making the 50 minute trip back for both the pot pies and the pies. Our friends loved the muffins and other items they bought. Miss Angel was extremely helpful, courteous, and she and her team make pies like mom used to make. The crust....to die for. All the ingredients were top notch. Couldn't have been better.

Was in yesterday and got a SF apple pie and coconut cream pie. I have bought several times but this time neither pie was good. The crust on the apple was underbaked and the apples were bland with no taste. The coconut cream pie was solid white and runny and way too sweet, nothing like it has ever been. Very disappointing for the price! One last thing, the person getting the order together needs to wear gloves or use tongs and not touch the food.

Have been getting the small pies from Miss Angels for about 5 years and they were always great. Just picked up 10 small pies on June 11th. Pies were clearly not up to same quality as in the past.

The filling of the pie was good. But the crust was very dry, I could barely swallow without taking a drink. This has the potential to be a great pie. But that crust needs a lot of work.

Also, I don’t recall the person behind the counter having gloves on when picking up my pie to put in the box. Good thing I don’t live here because I won’t be back.

My brother in law was hungry so we bought him bc a small pie. He said he couldn’t eat it. The crust was so dry. Had to throw it away. Don’t waste your 5 dollars. Extremely disappointed. Will never go back. The guy up front is a slick salesman.

I can’t say enough about this bakery and Miss Angel. My girlfriend, Charyl, and I stopped on and she immediately greeted us like family. We stayed and talked for a while and shared life stories. What a treat! Speaking of treats, the apple pie & cherry pie with crumble pie are hands down one of the best I’ve ever had. Don’t forget to go next door and top it with a little moonshine ice cream. Wow wow wow! This is a MUST VISIT if you are in the area.

The lady that answers the phone is very rude and hateful. Because of her nasty attitude I will not order anything from them anymore. Her nastiness was uncalled for.

We stumbled across this bakery by accident and we were thrilled we found it!
The honey buns were delicious, crumb apple pie and blueberry pie did not disappoint ! They were all made with love and each bite was heavenly.
Highly recommend this bakery and we will definitely be back when we visit again.

The pastries I purchased were dry and stale. Had no flavor at all. Don’t waste your money on food that’s just going to go into the trash sadly. Store it self looked like a good place. Worker was helpful and nice.

I ordered a banana bread and the smell of it was so strong. It smells like burnt. I took one bite and could not eat it. The man who helped us was very helpful.
