Amazing service, great beer we tried the Hazy Future and we loved it!
We were staying in a rental above the brewery, which is why we picked this rental. We love local and walkable areas. We killed time here before check in, we sat at the bar and ordered the pizza of the week and a flight of beers. Pizza was just enough to share and was yummy. They also have wine for the folks that don't like beer. It's very spacious and they also have outdoor seating. There is a social district in front on Market Street that has other places that serve beer and cocktails. We really like the vibe of this place and James was the best! He gave us so many good recommendations on things to do while in the area. It gets busy during peak times, but it seemed to flow well. There is a parking lot next door and lots of free parking near by. Go visit the alley mural that's next door. We would love to come back.
We visited here often as we were staying in the VRBO above the brewery. My favorite beer was the Pilsner. We also did a flight. We got the pizza of the month with broccoli and bacon. James and Heather were friendly bartenders. We love the location. Definitely worth a visit! You get treated like family.
Already had this place on my list to try out while vacationing this past weekend. My niece asked earlier if I had been, bc she's enjoyed her visits at this establishment when she's been in the area.
After going for a hike a little ways out, we returned to our Mt. Airy air bnb with just enough time to run by & order to-go pizza and taste their brews. I feel like I was treated like family from the moment I arrived! The beers were solid. Service was impeccable - and after I got back 'home' & read some reviews, some others didn't feel that...but owners & staff surely have made it a point that won't be an issue needing addressed anymore. I DID also meet the owners - super kind folks, who certainly care for their community & anyone who passes through their doors!
I'll definitely be back, ANYTIME I'm in this area! Highly recommend, don't think you'll be disappointed! Thank you Heather & Kirsten - you made me feel at home while away from home! Much thanks!!
Jan & Maria - dakujem!! Though I only briefly met you...I could see the pure joy on your faces that I came to your business! Your food, staff, & just whole vibe in the space is wonderful!! Well done! I will most certainly be back & recommend anyone I know visiting the remote area to stop by!
Be well!! Slainté!
The Pilsner is awesome. So are the pizzas.
Best vibe in Mount Airy along with The White Elephant. Honestly is starting to crush Coppolas Pizza on 52.
Nice space inside and out. Had the West Coast IPA. Needs some work to use this name.
What a great gem! The food was great! Even though I am not a big fan of beer, Thirsty Souls has a long list of options to choose from and the rest of the people in my group enjoyed the different selections. I was only able to grab a pic of one side of the wall. Seamed to be a very popular place with lots of lively conversations! Didn’t say the food was great? Well, the Artisan Pizza is amazing!
Thirsty Soul!! Thank you for filling my cup and soul to overflowing in your cozy establishment. James and Sarah (with an “h”) y’all rock!!
Burnt pizza and didn’t care it was burnt when they gave it to me. Margarita pizza… oh sorry no basil after they make it and slap a few coke tomato’s on top 😂

On our weekend to explore Mount Airy, Mrs. K. requested "fish" and it's my job to find a way to make that happen. So I did the searching and found that Thirsty Souls has a pizza with smoked salmon on it. That qualifies.
Parking on the street, we had a choice of tables in the pub. I ordered drinks and pizza. Ten minutes later (and half my beer gone) the buzzer did its thing and we're tearing into "The Thirsty Fish" with smoked salmon, onions and goat cheese.
A lovely and comfy spot with pizza and other bar food, some tasty brews (the Czech It Out is a lovely pilsner) and the sort of peaceable vibe where you can relax. Five stars.
It's definitely a must place to visit in Mt Airy. On market st, good craft beers and the pizzas are yummy. Mt Airy has a lot of great places. This one is good to while enjoying your visit there.
Great atmosphere, delicious beer, and Kole makes the best pizza.
Absolutely loved this place. My girlfriend is gluten free and had been craving the taste of beer since she found out she couldn’t have gluten anymore. The owner’s wife has celiac I believe, or can’t have gluten for some reason, so they have multiple beers with either no gluten or gluten reduced!! The atmosphere was awesome and we had a delicious gluten free pizza as well. We will definitely be back if we are ever out that way again!!
This is an absolute favorite. They have a great pizza menu and the beer is perfect compliment. The staff is exceptional, always attentive and friendly. Great place for family and friends.
