Mexican food sounded good so we gave this place a try. Started with chips and salsa appetizer. Salsa was good but chips were probably poured right out of a bag. They should at least warm them. Wife ordered fish tacos and they were good. She got the fish blackened. I got the chicken burrito bowl with black beans. It was good as well. Service was good. Wasn’t busy or crowded when we went in but became busier as we were leaving. We would eat there again.
We were downtown, just for the evening, after being on the road all day. We happened to score a parking space right in front of this restaurant. We looked at the menu and decided to go in. A margarita seemed in order. We ordered chips and salsa, a Caliente margarita, Barbacoa quesadilla, and grilled shrimp tacos. I agree with one of the other reviewer‘s. We wondered about Main Street and providentially found this restaurant. The owner's grandmother (so she said) was outside when I approached and asked if it was a good place for dinner. Grandma said, "Absolutely." Her relationship was not spouting a cognitive bias. This place is great! The bowls were creative and delicious. The drinks, were average. Our server was attentive and made good recommendations from the menu. I would go there again if traveling in that area.
