I was a NY transplant recently relocated to Murphy. Hated Murphy. Hated NC. Loved the Chop House. Happily back in NY. Only thing I miss about NC is the Chop House. Staff is superb. Food excellent and not expensive at all. Go if you have the chance. Oh and say hey to Mike and Terry and the rest of the gang for me. Def try the grilled asparagus and ask for an extra dinner roll. Thanks guys for making an otherwise unbearable situation bearable. You rock.
Fantastic food. Their bread alone is worth the trip. I have never had anything that compares. My steak was cooked perfectly and was absolutely delicious. Service is exceptional. We will definitely go back when in the area.

We visit the casino for my uncle's birthday. We decided to try The Chophouse. Overall it was just ok and I do recommend.Pros: our waiter was great, food was okCons: it took almost 2 hrs to get our food. We were a party of 8, so I guess they were understaffed.Parking: Limited space in the front so you can park across the street.
