Me and my best friend spend a week in OBX every October for a week to ride bikes, sight-see and eat great seafood. We have done this for over a decade now. We've eaten at Andy's before and decided to try it again on our last day this year. A fellow about 55 waited on us. Was seated inside, all fans going the wrong way for cooling. Small table, asked to be moved outside, way cooler. Order the 1/2 pound of shrimp. Was not good at all !! Looks ,tastes, etc...Did not eat it.. Ended up going to get real seafood, and shrimp at awful arthur's.
First time going to Captain Andy's, after reading some of the reviews we were skeptical. But we wanted to check it out ourselves. We were glad we did! We ordered a strawberry margarita on the rocks, the bartender was not sure if we would like it because they are usually served frozen, so the waitress brought us a "tester" from the bartender! It was delicious. The effort that he made was very thoughtful. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was really good....
