We arrived to OBX before our house was ready, so we decided find a place for lunch. We decided to try Dune Burger. The burgers were delicious along with the onion rings. When we went, there was a sign stating no shakes. The parking lot is small. They have plenty of picnic tables to enjoy your meal.
This place is exactly what you expect from a burger shack literally in the sand.
The burgers are great, wrapped in paper, and just the amount of flat top grease you expect from a smash burger.
The fries are shoestring and tasty.
I haven't tried their hot dogs, but the folks in my group that have said it was great hot dog.
All in all, the place is great for what it is, and a perfect late lunch spot.

the food was fast and delicious and the service was amazing. the place felt very welcoming and felt like a burger place in your home town. overall amazing am definitely coming back.
