This was the best meal we have eaten in OBX in a long time. The atmosphere was fun and welcoming, and the staff were great and provided excellent service. The food was amazing and it had some of the best twist on some classic dishes. We will definitely be making this a regular stop.Overall, one of the best dining experiences in all our trips down. The chef even stopped by our table to ask how our meal was and chatted for a bit. Loved every minute of this experience.

So this restaurant recently was sold and changed a few months ago. New management. New menu. We have to say the food was excellent. The ahi tuna was almost perfect- a little hot chiracha on the top made it fabulous. The sauce on the salmon and the crushed pecans were delicious. And they removed the skin which is the way salmon should always be served. There were only two small concerns: don't sit along the windows because in March/April you will be blinded by the sun and there are no blinds to block the blazing rays. And they put the water glasses upside down on the tables and then flip them over and fill them. So no water for us because we don't want the part of the glass that goes in my mouth to be touching the table, no matter how well it may have been cleaned. Service was top notch h as well both evenings we were here.

This was just what I was looking for and I would speak highly of this wonderful restaurant! It was very easy and quick and all the staff were amazing; so was the food! It's a large restaurant with ample seating, but I could see it getting busy during peak season. We ate here over spring break and only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table. We started with a dozen oysters - fresh, good selection, served with a choice of traditional mignionette or three other house accompaniments. Our party had the burger, street tacos, and the shrimp ramen. Everything was prepared and presented beautifully, and it was even more delicious than it looked! Good service, great meal. We'll be back! *also had a couple of N/A beers for non-drinkers or DDs. Try the Deep Fake IPA by Flying Dog!

First visit and last. Waitress was adequate. Clam chowder had good flavor but was luke warm. Crab ragoons were overpriced. Five for $14 dollars. Flavor was ok. Within an hour, two of us had an upset stomach and it was the chowder. Acoustics were terrible. Kitchen is open and several things were stopped making a loud noise.
The food is very good and that’s so important these days with the cost everything! I would recommend!

Stopped here for dinner and it was the best food we have had during any trip to the OBX. We sat at the raw bar and it was great. The seating is fantastic along with the atmosphere. William who runs the raw bar, was also our server. He was very knowledge about the oysters they had and was able to answer any questions we had and provided great recommendations.The food here is out of this world. We started with raw oysters and their oysters fried in duck fat. Both were extremely delicious. For our entree we had the crab cake sandwich and their dry aged ribeye. My wife enjoyed the crab cake sandwich and the steak was one of the best I have ever had.If you are looking for amazing food, great service and a fantastic atmosphere I highly recommend stopping here. You won’t be disappointed.
