This restaurant has the classic outer banks feel. Formerly Owens Restaurant for several decades, The Captain's Table maintains the same charm and allure. The fried seafood platter was enjoyable. The Shrimp and Scallops were especially delicious. The collards were fantastic.
Thanksgiving Day buffet was a resounding success all ‘round. Food was outstanding, a huge variety. Our party of eight was unanimous in raving about everything we ate. Service was very good. Staff clearly were working very hard but made us feel like we were the only ones there. Pace was relaxed and not at all rushed. Even though it was full, it didn’t feel at all crowded. A new family tradition is born! Thank you Captain’s Table. Congratulations on an event very well done.
Oh the ATMOSPHERE!!! This place was great! Great food, great service, and antiques and art scattered throughout made for a great experience! We got the buffet - note, they only open it when someone orders it, so that the food is FRESH. A lot of times I look at the simplest things to get a feel for a place.
