Awesome place for simple easy meals. Hatteras Chowder is the best, has me hooked years ago! Crab cake was all crab - no cake! Awesome! Fries are great! Awesome sweet tea. Well run establishment - 88 years. This is what OBX is about!
In my wife's opinion no trip to the outer banks is complete with out stopping by Sam & Omie's for their She Crab Soup! I skip around their menu and have never been disappointed what I've got. They know how to cook seafood!
This place has been around for a long time, and for good reason. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere is that of a local favorite (which it is), and the service was great! If we had eaten here on the first night of our vacation, we would have eaten here at least 1 more night. I highly recommend Sam and Omie's.
