For a take out place this takes a long time to get ready so I wouldn’t recommend if you were in a hurry. The food was decent, but we also got charged a delivery fee for takeout that we placed in the building. There are a couple of tables in the building but it’s really hot in there, definitely geared for takeout. I’d say if you want to give it a try place the order ahead of time and pick it up and take it somewhere nice to eat it. A big plus is that they do have GF options ($.50 more for than what is listed on the menu so total of $2.50 extra for GF bread) and there are good options for vegans and vegetarians.

The South Beach chicken sandwich was not mentioned during the Chicken sandwich war because they are in a league of its own.
Their fries are also amazing. Crispy and natural.
I would highly recommend it to anyone nearby.

All my experiences with South Beach have been absolutely phenomenal. It is definitely one of my go-to spots on the beach. Whether it's picking up, or getting delivery, the service is always quick, reliable, and friendly. The menu has something for everyone, burgers, wraps, tacos, salads, and even vegan and vegetarian options (which are hard to find on the beach). Every meal I have had has been delicious. The fries are incredible and that fry sauce is out of this world. To top it off, the staff is amazing. They are friendly and helpful and very efficient. If you're looking for your new favorite spot on the beach, look no further.

Super excited to find this place - we’ve been coming to OBX for years. They have GG options! (Easiest to view it by downloading the menu pdf from their website.) The GF fried chicken sandwich with GF bun is PHENOMENAL. My husband LOVED the Po’Boy. We are originally from Philly and having the cheesesteak on an Amoroso - chefs kiss! Only critique is the cheesesteak was a little bit on the salty side. The Fried chicken sandwich is massive so I cut it in half for my kids. They could barely finish just a half it’s so large. I loved the southwest salad and the dressing is delicious. We will definitely order from here again next summer!
