My dinner party of five had an exceptional time at Annabelle's this evening. Our server proved to have an idetic memory. There were no mistakes with the orders. The appetizers and entrees were magnificent. Thank you to our waitress, whomever you are. To the chef, the Chicken Florentine was the best I've ever tasted. ?

My wife and mother in law went there for lunch today. They ordered friends pickles, a smokehouse burger, and a mushroom burger. The smokehouse burger was undercooked by quite a bit, the fries were old and mushy, the “caramlized onions” were just 3 pieces of onion that were a little warm, there were mushrooms from the other burger on it, and they were charged $50 for this. Neither of them finished their meal. The fried pickles were fine, that’s hardly worth a consolation prize. If this is common for lunch hour on a Saturday I have no idea why this place has such a high rating. To top it off the wife has been sick to her stomach since leaving, maybe food poisoning? Needless to say we will never be returning here.The staff was friendly, so they got some positive feedback for that.

I walked in at 4pm this afternoon and started to make my way to the bar. I was stopped by the girl at the hostess stand and told that they were “not seating people at the bar”! She went to the bartender and asked her and she plainly said “NO”! What restaurants bar is closed on a Saturday at 4pm?? I asked the hostess what time it would be open and she said “I don’t know”, didn’t bother to find out when it would be open. She didn’t offer to seat me or to take a to go order, nothing! Very disappointed!!

Quite frankly the best place to eat in New Bern. Nothing really compares I can confidently say. Great ownership, customer service, you name it. When it gets warm outside there’s nothing better than a nice meal at Annabelles outside.

Food is great, service is great but there is a Non Cash adjustment fee for using credit or debit cards. That was a surprise for me. Still tipped well as that isn't the servers fault but next time I will use cash.

We had the tuna as an appetizer, the sirloin and the Chicken Florentine for dinner. Everything was delicious! Our server Brianna did an excellent job. Everything was clean. The staff was polite. Highly recommend!!!!

Our waitress was wonderful. She kept our drinks full and made sure we had everything we needed. The atmosphere is nice but the food took forever. We ordered the prime rib special and soup and salad. Broccoli soup was served hot was good. The restroom is clean. Overall, I would go back and recommend them.
