I go to Bayleaf frequently. They have very good food and it always comes out fresh and hot. Some people complain about waiting too long for their food but they don't understand that one or more dishes for their party might need to marinate before cooking, or a longer cook time. If your food is hot and delicious then you got great service. Tip accordingly.
Love this place for Indian food. Amazing and made fresh to serve. Staff is amazing and wonderful and is also very helpful when ordering. I could eat here every week and never run out of wonderful things to eat.
We've lived in New Bern for years and tried most of the downtown restaurants. I wish we had found Bay Leaf sooner! Bay Leaf serves authentic Indian cuisine for any palette (spice-lover or not). I was especially impressed with how well they prepared the lamb, it practically melts in your mouth. The sauces are also delicious.
