Today is October 18th. I went to Broad Street and ordered a salad, a fish sandwich combo, and a chicken sandwich combo. Two of my meals came with a drink. The cashier did not want to give me my drink because I did not want a sweet tea or an Arnold Palmer. He forgot to bring it up, so he didn't want to give me my drink. On top of that, the macaroni and cheese was so dry and stuck together. He forgot to put cheese in it, just butter. Then, to add insult to injury, my salad only had eggs, chicken, and bacon bits. There were no onions, croutons, or any of the other toppings that were supposed to come with it. Then to say the least it smelled stale I was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied.

This place is awesome. On the cheaper side of things which was great. The burger is amazing they do a really great job. The fish was great. And their Mac and cheese was top tier. If your in the area definitely check them out worth every dollar

Fish was amazing, my husband's burger was perfect, fries were delicious, PERFECT mac n' cheese and the good fried okra. This place is iiiiit yall. and the gentleman who took my payment, plus the one at the counter were both sweet, kind as can be.
This place reminds me of my childhood when I would go down to the city in St. Louis. This is high quality soul food! I loved the pork steaks.

Food and service are exceptional!! Tastes just like the food my grandma used to cook. I hope that one day maybe you all can be a full service restaurant. New Bern really needs a restaurant that specializes in down home food. One that is not a chain restaurant preferably. That's you all!! Thank you for the delicious food!
