What I love about this place? Well, thats easy! EVERYTHING!! Mayte herself is just the sweetest and always makes a point to chat with the customers and every once in a while I get lucky and shes tried something new that she will come out and share with whomever is there. I personally just love the Italian Tea Cookies as I am mostly gluten free (I have splurged and had a couple of deserts that weren't GF and they were amazing too). I have struggled to find good coffee in North Carolina. My search is finally over! This place is a GEM. Best kept secret in Craven County! Great atmosphere. The desserts also look amazing.

Quaint French Patisserie in the downtown New Bern area. They serve Lavazza Coffee which is excellent. The pastries are delicious and beautiful. You will find it hard to pick what you want to eat. It all looks so good! You can stop in and get some work done. There are plenty of tables, comfy chairs, and even bar seating. Lovely art on the walls and enjoyable French music playing makes for a charming visit.
