Called to see if they could get a particular wine and they had it for me in 2 days. Very helpful
I called from out of state requesting a gift basket for my Mom who was in New Bern visiting a friend. They did a great job of explaining what was available and putting together a fun gift for her while staying in budget - they even personally delivered it the same day. Great service! Thank you!
I went in for the first time, and my son is interested in learning the art of wine and Aubrey was absolutely wonderful and helpful!
Excellent selection of non-supermarket wines. Wines you simply won't find anywhere else. Along with expert advice and knowledge combine to making a visit to Craven Wines a rewarding experience. Could not more strongly recommend Craven Wines.
Friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and you’re supporting a local small business when you shop here. It’s a win/win!!
Great selection of reasonably priced (and some bargains) wines - friendly. knowledgeable staff - great special events
Amy is awesome & explains the wines very nicely. A must for tastings & shopping. Delicious!
Family owned and operated. Shop local!
I had high hopes for this locally owned wine shop. My partner and I collect, drink, and entertain with wine. Thus, we purchase a fair amount (6 to 12 bottles every week to two weeks). I like this shop for the drinkability of the vino. They carry a selection of mid to low-mid range.

I have visited the shop five times now. Each time the owner or her brother have been pleasant, and helpful. However, each time they have also made comments that elude to the idea that they think I've purchased too much wine, or that I shouldn't be consuming wine since I have a small baby.
I went back, one last time, this past Saturday to give it a final go. I purchased a case (they give a discount on 12 or more bottles). As I was leaving the brother says, "well, this might last a few days, see you next week."
It's small, but passive aggressive, and I don't think I will be spending a few hundred dollars a month at a shop where we are shamed for the very thing that they sell.

Another fantastic wine tasting. Great hors d'oeuvres too.Thank you Amy
Craven wine specializes in wines you can't buy just anywhere from regions all over the world. Amy, Joel, and Audrey make you feel welcome every time! Never buy grocery store wine again!!!
The staff always go over and above for their customers. They only had two bottles left of a wine we like and they pulled them for us until we could get them. Its all the little things that make a difference.
THE destination to learn about wines, sample wines, and purchase wines. They feature wines grown by private vineyards, and pressed on the premises. These wines come from Spain, Portugal, Germany, France, Argentina, New Zealand, Austria, California, and South Africa. They feature wine tastings every Saturday from noon until 3:00 pm.
