My husband and I could not have found a better garden party venue for our wedding celebration! The location in downtown New Bern was ideal for all of our out of town guests to stay at local hotels and walk to the venue. Rachel was extremely personable and responsive every step of the way! Not only was planning and coordination easy, Rachel and her team made sure my husband and I didn’t have to lift a finger. From recharging our drinks to ensuring we had food ready (and tented to keep bugs out) at our sweetheart table for after pictures! 11/10 recommend this location and team! Bonus: they are Tildy Florals as well so we were able to get our flowers through them and talk about no stress!

We had the most amazing experience at The Gardens at Isaac Taylor for our wedding ceremony & reception on October 19, 2024! From the very beginning of our planning journey, Rachel and her staff were incredibly accommodating and attentive to our needs. We met with Rachel a few times to discuss our ideas, and she truly brought our vision to life on our special day.
The venue itself is breathtaking, surrounded by lush greenery and natural beauty, which provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. Our guests were in awe of the scenery and had nothing but positive feedback about their experience.
The only downside we encountered was the lack of on-site staff for the breakdown at the end of the night. We were also informed that we couldn't leave anything behind to pick up the next day, so it's important to have a reliable team of family or friends—or even consider hiring someone—to help with packing up as you prepare to leave.
Despite this small hiccup, I wholeheartedly recommend The Gardens at Isaac Taylor for anyone looking for a fun and beautiful venue with plenty of character. We truly wish we could relive our wedding weekend all over again!
