Royal Farms Store # 467

Went there at midnight, not inebrieated or under the influence of something that makes food taste better, and was blown away by the quality, appearance, and freshness. In the witching hours of new bern, this is where you go to treat your tastebuds.

This is our 2nd attempt. 1st time we left without purchasing anything after waiting 10 minutes for an employee to acknowledge our presence. We asked for assistance and the employee just looked down. We decided to try again today, after a year, and will not return. We ordered 2 sandwiches and fries. There were 2 people who had ordered ahead of us. We waited 20 minutes for our order and the saddest part is..we got our food before the other orders came out. It was 1:30 and besides the other gentlemen and us the store was basically empty so why the delay???

Best fried chicken around

This place used to be amazing. I don't know if they switch management or not. But they have really fallen off the last few times I've been in there. The food was horrible and they're known for the chicken. It was hard dry, burnt

Everytime you come in for some chicken you have to wait at minimum 15 to 20 mins. They never have any made up and act like you did something wrong when you order some. I do not understand why they do not keep an adequate amount of chicken already made.

Very clean and neat

The employees are very friendly and welcoming. Today the store manager went above and beyond to ensure my food was the best quality and very fresh. Will be returning

I had a nice experience.

The fuel pumps are very new and clean.

All the staff inside is really polite and attentive. I tried the chicken sliders, and they were surprisingly good.

6 am I had to pay cash and a old white lady get mad because she had to open a cashier at that time and made me a terrible faces please be kind with people

We stopped at the one in Kinston, NC and was completely smitten! I love this store it's the next best store to Bucc-ees! I love fried chicken and potato wedges! It reminds of a gas station I went to as a kid. Come to Morehead city!!

I took my mother out to eat her and it seemed okay at first 37 dollars for a 5 peice tender no drink and 2 mash potato's and a 3 peice meal no drink potato wedges falls apart when you pick it up tenders have no taste whatsoever biscuits are dry as hell and the potato's are dry and nasty and the gravy is a crime I swear. The service was alright lady ignored me when I asked her multiple times if she called my order I will not be eating here again.

Chicken was very tiny. I needed a magnifying glass to find the chicken under the potatoes. Absolutely no taste at all. Potatoes tasted even worse. The waffles was only pressed on one side. Total waste of money!!

I ordered DoorDash and only received my two wings with my 3 piece white meal, no breast at all. Left DoorDash a bad review as well. This was my first time and last, the chicken was good but I was looking forward to only the breast between me and my boyfriend.

Staff is just rude when the self checkout isn’t working. Especially when there is nobody able to check you out.
