Me and my family LOVE this restaurant!!!!!! They were able to accommodate my family and I for my mom's birthday party yesterday. As always, the chicken and hushpuppies were delicious.
my son and I eat at the Greenville location. The service has always been fast and employees were very nice. I think the food is great. Baked beans are my favorite side dish. The prices are reasonable.
BBQ was “stale” like it had been refrigerated at closing and reheated more than once. No soft crabs. Shrimp had that Sams Club imported, Indonesian farm raised frozen taste and texture. Collards were sugary, not trimmed by hand and green beans were canned. I’m sure the collards share the same fate. I grew up in eastern NC. I’m not easily fooled. You can’t call it one thing and serve something else. But alas it’s my own fault, I chose to go there.
