I rarely ever give a bad review, unfortunately I have to in this case. We went to Christmas dinner, the service was extremely slow (20-30 minutes for a drink), drinks and food served on dirty plates/glasses with food remnants floating in my drink. When it came time that the hibachi cook was tossing food to people for one of his neat little tricks, my fiance politely said no thank you, and he then proceeded to put food on his spatula and throw it directly at her hitting her with multiple pieces. Not once but twice he did this intentionally. I'm extremely upset by this matter, and not to mention how my fiance feels. We will never come back. I wish I could rate this experience 0 stars.

I wish I could give this place no stars. Extremely unprofessional staff. They made our experience horrible. And the hibachi cook in particular I am talking about. I hope this place shuts down. They served our food and drink on dirty plates and cups (ended up asking for plastic and hardly ate any sides served bc everything was so gross.) and the cook was so freaking rude and horrible. Will never be back.

The food gets zero stars for me and service was 3 stars but I deducted a star off due to the manager coming over basically arguing with me over how the food was just freshly made and how she could show me. I looked dead at her and stated I don’t care your steak tasted expired and the spicy tuna roll was definitely premade or reused from someone who didn’t eat theirs. The tuna had a hard top texture like it was sitting in a cooler and the top got hard but the worse part was the taste and hardness of the tempura crunch. Learn better customer service skills. You do not approach customers in a defensive way. I never asked for you to come over and start yelling at me. I have had sushi all over the country and even in other countries but this is the worse. I was NOT looking for free anything just food that is not old or expired. Also the server told me they do not have sweet potato but we ordered two veggie tempura appetizers and my niece got a piece of sweet potato and no it was not the carrots. Also my husband did not eat his steak hibachi ( this man never leaves any food on his plate unless it’s bad) but he just let me know in the car that it tasted bad as well. This place is not busy enough so I am only assuming food cost you are not going to waste anything so why not serve day old expired food or reused. I can only imagine all the health code violations this place has if only a food inspector would drop in to check out that kitchen.

Was seated and we waited 15 minutes.without ever having our drink order taken I would have understood if it had been busy but there were only 3 tables with people and the waitress kept walking by never said anything just looked and kept walking very rude

I like this habatchi restaurant it is probably tied for second place as far as best in town. I think they have great food service and a clean atmosphere. I would say I have been here at the minimum 20 times over the last five years and never had a bad experience with any service they provided. The food is great and the service is equal to the food. Prices are higher than one of the other habatchi restaurants here in town. Definitely not going to have a bad experience here so well worth trying ?

The food tasted like nothing I don't even know how that's possible but it did the portion of the yaki for the price isn't worth it. Save your money go to sake in Jacksonville or even the place in Greenville I forget the name is better was so disappointed wish I could get my money back. Only nice thing was portion of habachi but that didn't taste like anything either and why did the white sauce look like that

First visit was decent, no refill but I eat fast so no biggie. Second time, place was clean but food lacked flavor. Waitress gave one refill then ignored me (i attended by myself both times). I ordered more this time, she only came back with the bill. Asked for a refill before, haven't been back since.

Let me start by saying the food is delicious, however the service is absolutely horrible. We waited about 20min before the waitress even showed up to our table to take our drink order. By this time we already knew what we wanted, so we also placed our food order. We spent 45min waiting on food. During this time, 3 other tables that had came in behind us had already gotten their food and refills. Our entire table (2 adults and 2 kids) were out of drinks and our waitress had yet to come by and check on us. The waitress finally came out and brought 3 plates, grabbed my husband's cup and refilled it. Our youngest still had NOT received her food. Waitress finally comes back and says "her food was given to another table, so they are having to remake it". We of course are not going to sit here and eat in front of her. So we wait another 30min. She still hasn't received her food and once again, no refills. My husband ended up getting up and taking our cups up to the desk and asking if someone could refill them. Took 3 people to finally say "yes, I can refill them". Once again, our waitress is nowhere in sight. We finally got up, asked for boxes and the check. As we are putting our food away she finally walks up with our daughters food, walks away and another waitress brings us our check. $112 check and a 2 hour wait and not a single person said "sorry about all of this" or even bothered to come back to our table to check on us. Our waitress was on the other side of the restaurant folding napkins.

The restaurant was NOT busy. To have numerous waiters look right at us and see that we aren't being helped and don't even ask if everything is okay is absolutely ridiculous.

The food is great and it's ashame that your customer service is absolutely horrible.
