Went to Saltwater Grill in New Bern NC for Thanksgiving and we had delicious food, and great customer service. I was amazed how much the entire staff hustled to keep food on the buffet line and drink glasses filled. Awesome job folks ;) We may have discovered a new family tradition … everyone in our party got what they wanted and the patrons near me were kind and courteous. Decorum and southern hospitality is still around!
I really really like this place and want to give it 5 stars, and the food was amazing … !!!
BUT: 1) There was No Soap in the Men’s Restroom (where does the cook was his hands?); 2) My She Crab Soup was delicious , BUT —- SO SALTY that i almost couldn’t eat it; 3) My Shrimp Grits were also SO SALTY that I couldn’t finish it. I was so swollen the next day, and that was after being up peeing all night long !!! And I usually add salt to everything I eat, but not...

Great prices, a great menu selection and even better fall cocktail menu choices created by the fantastic Kirsten. Perfect by the waterfront area with a nice, good seasoning, clean food and good service. Highly recommend the she crab soup bowl and Autumn Sunrise
