This is the best fast food place in all of New Bern. Incredible fried chicken, fries, hush puppies, sweet tea, eastern nc bbq, and the service is extremely polite. The atmosphere is so clean and classic. I always find it relaxing with my family.

Great food, great service! Stopped in on our drive home from out of town Sunday lunchtime. Place was SUPER busy. Food came out fast and hot with a smile. Pulled pork sandwich always a favorite. Fried chicken was amazing. Loved it

Got a combo with BBQ CHICKEN. Disappointed in the amount of BBQ. THEY FILLED IT UP WITH HUSHPUPPIES. It wad takeout so didn't know until I got home. Disappointed based on price for what I was given. Also had to wait 15 minutes for the BBQ CHICKEN. I love Smitbut this was i worst experience

Hands down one of the best Smithfield's locations I've visited. The service here is outstanding—everyone is friendly and welcoming. The dining room is always clean, and I love that they have a sink available to wash your hands before eating. Great food, great atmosphere, and fast service. A perfect spot for a quick, quality meal.

Friendly staff, very clean restaurant n the BBQ is totally delicious!. Whenever we want BBQ we go straight to Smithfield Chicken N Bbq. There chicken n BBQ. Is awesome n we will be going again n again. It never gets old. The people are still just as pleasantl as always. The restaurant is in a convenient area. Definitely will be sending people your way.

Stopped here while I was in New Bern, the young lady at the counter was very nice which is rare these days, so that was good, unfortunately the food was extremely meh - just not good at all. Also the dining area is drab and dingy - looks like a cafeteria in an institution of some sort. Definitely won't go here again.

Overall, food was good but we asked for the fries to be cooked extra crispy. We got back on the road and those fries were grossly undercooked, limp as spaghetti noodles, and extremely greasy.
