“To me, the mark of a great BBQ joint is their brisket ... and ... well ... Smithfields does not have brisket. But, what they lack in fully embracing the full spectrum of BBQ, they make up with their pulled pork. Tender, juicy and bursting with that Carolina tang! Loved it!!! But of course you have to lean into that vinegar side of BBQ ... and for me I am full tilt.
And ... the Brunswick Stew was def worth the taste. Heavy in pork ...light in veggies ... but hey, what's wrong with that - right?“

“My husband and I decided to check this place out for breakfast during our visit in Morehead City. So glad we did!! . The breakfast was delicious! Prices were very reasonable. It was fairly busy and wait staff kept the place hopping!!. Busboy was on top of every vacant table and immediately cleaned it. Upon people entering the restaurant, there was always someone looking to provide seating. While we were there a party of eleven came in and within 10 min they were accommodated. Will definitely be back!!“

“I have eaten all up and down this island but this is definitely one of the best places I've experienced here.
Probably the best burger overall on the island with very strong fundamentals and good ingredient balance/ratio as well as hot and fresh hushpuppies that straight up touched my soul.
I also enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere and general vibe of the restaurant as well as the friendly and attentive staff.
I think the most important thing to me is not just how good the food was but that the prices were very reasonable for such well made and tasty food.
The price vs meal satisfaction for this place is very impressive. Some places on this island are tasty but difficult to enjoy because of the high prices but with this place i don't have to try to justify it to myself i can just savor those absolutely delightful hushpuppies to my hearts content.“

“Quick, casual, and delicious. It was the perfect place for my wife and I to sit down and have brunch. The staff was super kind and helpful. The food was awesome. Everything we tried was great and it gives you a nice view of all the beachgoers heading to the beach. I'd love to come back and try the rooftop bar as well. All around excellent little setup.“

“Enjoyed an excellent breakfast, we ordered off the menu vs the buffet, it was 2 good plates, well presented and prices were reasonable compared to other hotel restaurants I’ve been too.

“I've been dining at both restaurants for years and enjoyed myself ,the food , and the staff! The food and sides at Morehead have a better flavor, taste better ,and the portions are much bigger. I ve notice that recently on my last couple times that the sides are much better at both restaurants. The mash potatoes in Morehead are so delicious. I wish that was the same case at the emerald isle restaurant. The Cole slaw is the best that I have taste recently. I swear if the food was as good as the sides have been lately I wouldn't eat anywhere else. SNAPPPERZ KEEP IT UP!“

“This place hands down had the best fish tacos in the area. It was such a chill spot and an absolutely gem of a spot if you have kiddos. The Buffalo shrimp were to die for and no joke … the ranch really was life changing! Thanks for serving such amazing food with a family friendly atmosphere.“

“First time and by far the best seafood in the area. Will be back next year. Definitely make reservations we did not but was earlier enough and they seated us. Staff was so friendly and exceptional. Our server was a college student and he gave us some great food choices that did not disappoint. He was extremely a fantastic server. Food was beyond expectations. 10/10“

“We had a wonderful evening at Circa 81 today! The food and staff are fabulous! Peter and Jared the reservation host were a pleasure! Thanks for everything! Loved the steak, pork Wellington, and sea food Mac & Cheese Tapas. We even had room for delicious desserts! 😉 The Fox family!“
