My wife and I stopped in on a Friday afternoon. Plenty of seating. And a plethora of different styles of beer and ciders to choose from. We met the owner Jeff. He and his staff were very welcoming. They have a stage for live performances. Food is available. However, my bride and I had a large lunch shortly before our beer drinking adventure. If you enjoy trying different brews, in a friendly, laid back setting, Novel Taproom is a great place to check out.

We booked Novel for a private party. Upon arrival, we found out they had double booked the space. The owner would not handle this issue and chose to make the bartenders deal with it. They were very nice and apologetic. HOWEVER, the owner is a complete jerk. Rather than apologizing or offering literally ANYTHING for their mixup, he just said it was “unfortunate”. They never once checked a calendar to see which party was supposed to be there that night. Since the other party got there before us, we were told that we had to be the ones to leave (not the other party’s fault at all).
Save your money. Support a local business that has respect for their paying customers.

CONCERTS ARE CASH ONLY! This is a neat little taproom in a neat little town! There is funky artwork on the walls, books in the window sills, and a ton of choices on tap! We drove over an hour to get here and are not disappointed! It's an intimate setting for concerts and other events 😊 We didn't try any of the menu items

Went on Monday trivia night. What a blast! The owner gave us a tour of the place and told us all about the history of the building. Very impressive. Great drinks and fun!
First time visiting this place in my hometown. My dad in his 60s took me (he’s got great taste apparently). Beautiful building, especially the upstairs part. Girls at the bar were very helpful with suggestions and samples. Outdoor space was nice too, had ourselves a game of cornhole. I’m sure it’s even better lit up at night. 10/10 would return next time I’m visiting home.

Great beer choices, very limited food choices. They were out of wings the night we visited. They have their pizza brought in from another restaurant and then bake it there. Having said all that this is the place to go if you like beer! Lots of choices and it is very cold.
