Our server, Noah, was amazing! They were definitely short staffed but he was hustling and made sure to meet our needs! He was friendly and kind and attentive. Our food was delicious, steaks cooked to order and desserts delicious. As a server, I know the stresses of others calling out so I appreciate his attentiveness to all of his tables, including my parents and brother and I. Thank you for a great dinner, Noah!

Bartender has a disturbing view between dine in customers and take out customers
Take out customers deserve better service than dine in.
They can walk on talk and stand over seated customers at the bar and be given preferential treatment

Cassie the bartender was amazing. And she can upsell those appetizers like noonea’s businesses! Hee managers and owners should be super thrilled with her !! She had all the specials memorized and gave us great recommendations!

First they have crammed so many tables in there it’s very tight we heard the table beside us entire conversation! Our waitress was very slow I went to the bar to get a drink and then she was extremely rude!!! I ordered the filet it was awful! It had no flavor and tough! I could not cut it even with a steak knife! The 2 other dishes ordered at our table was the special which was a ribeye it was overcooked and dry!!! The chicken parmigiana was gross the chicken was dry as a bone!!! At the end of the meal if you want to call it that we were all still hungry!! The waitress came over finally and I told her my steak was awful she said well I asked if everything was ok I said yes you did but at that point I had not taken a bite of the steak!!!! I said I am not looking for anything free I am letting you know the food is terrible!! I intend on speaking with a manager today!! We will never go there again!!! It is definitely not what it used to be!!!

My fiancé and I drove 3+hours to Oak Island for his birthday, and we choose to dine in to Island way, I had the most racist and unpleasant experience of my entire life, never again, we got there it took us while for the waitress to acknowledge us in the first place, then she took us to a table, for another waitress come out telling us that we can't dine in because their kitchen is close, mind you it only was on 9pm, and they close at 10pm, a lot people were sitting having dinner, how the heck could the kitchen be close with people still sitting, I felt belittle, discriminated, ad disrespected because of my skin complexion, that's right I'm black and my fiancé is Asian, I guest we are not worthy to eat at Island way, it's 21st century, 2024, thing got to change, this racisms nonsense got to stop. We up ended dinning at Salt 64 and it was an amazing experience.

Although we were 15 minutes early for our 7pm reservation we were not seated until 7:12. Otherwise the service was excellent and the food was very good to excellent.

Because of negative comments I have gotten I feel the need to explain. This was in the middle of Covid and because of the cold weather the small foyer was packed shoulder to shoulder. We were all wearing masks but it was very uncomfortable. 12 minutes might not seem like a lot of time but in that situation it was torture. And I have NEVER been made to wait for a table at a restaurant where I had a reservation.
