Excellent ice cream. The story behind the place makes it even better to come here. If you don't know what to get, try the sampler. It's 4 small scoops of whatever you want in a little cardboard container. Plenty of seating and typically a friendly environment.

Parking: Parking is annoying. Most of the time you can't use the whole lot because of the line. I'd recommend the side lot if you can park there.

My favorite ice cream ever!! We stop any time we are in the area no matter how long the line is. They work QUICK and once you order, it’s out within minutes. I’m obsessed with the key lime pie or the cookies and cream. The chocolate cake sundae is delicious and a very generous serving. What would a getaway to Oak Island be without a stop at Sweettreat's?! The ice cream is delicious, and they have an exciting offering of flavors! Old favorites and new flavors are always on point. Service is quick, and the staff is friendly, so don't let the line scare you. A big thanks to "Gracie" who was very friendly and helpful! Already looking forward to our next visit!
