Food was fresh with very nice presentation. Not as flavorful as I'd like but still very good and just overall a pleasant experience. Going back in two nights!Parking: Easy access in front of restaurant.

My wife and I tried out Thai and Vine and were very pleased with the food. We shared an appetizer order of crispy chicken rolls. They tasted very fresh and were very crispy-true to their name. I had the spicy basil with chicken and my wife had Chicken Pad Thai. We pretty much order the same dishes at all Thai restaurants, and I have to say that theirs was better than most others we have tried! The vegetables were crunchy and very fresh in the Spicy Basil and the seasonings were just right and not over done. The Pad Thai was also delicious! Our server was very attentive and very friendly. Give them a try if you haven’t already!

Our 2nd visit and a repeat of the negatives from the first visit. We had a 6:00 reservation. The service at the front end is non-existent. This is a small restaurant and they clearly had overbooked reservations. No one bothered to check us in. Three tables finally opened up at 6:15 and all 3 sat unserviced for 5 minutes. People behind us were all complaining and leaving which we finally did too. We won't return until they fix their service. Fortunately, there are now many other good OKI options.

Dang..... I was really hoping this place would be it especially since it's on the island. Poor servers were working their butts off. They really were trying hard to keep up but to no avail. Simply too many tables and not enough help. I place a take out order. Called it in and was told 15-20 minutes. Arrived 20 minutes afterwards. Paid and waited another 30 minutes. It happens. I was holding out frustration because I kept telling myself the food must be phenomenal. I hate to say it but it wasn't. I had the Panang curry with chicken. Sauce is supposed to be creamy.... mine was like water. Flavor was good, though, but still... like water. Ambiance was attempted but a lot was overlooked. A Thai relaxation video played on repeat in the background was a good attempt at relaxing background music but YouTube has gotten so bad with ads it really sucked having the relaxing music in the background to be interrupted with a blaring ad every two minutes.I was really hoping Thai and Vine would be it. I hate to say it's not. I won't be back. Unfortunately the place on the left past Walmart in Southport is better. Unfortunately because I have to make the drive for good Thai food. But it's a drive worth making.

Food was great as usual but running us out at 8;30 was disappointing. We were only about half way through sharing photos from a recent trip when the lights were shut off indicating we should leave.

i wanna give it 4.5 stars but can't. NO LUNCH MENU! dinner menu only. hard to find and hidden. very good food and service. no bargains, here, just good food. we were really happy. notice all the good reviews? yes, you can get vegetarian items. very nicely decorated by the way, good atmosphere. you will find something really good here.

My vegetables were hard to chew and pork was tough too. I think the vegetables needed to cook a couple extra minutes. The sauce flavor was great with the rice though. My two friends meals were good they said.

I am very happy that we have another great Thai restaurant in the area and this one in the town of Oak Island serves some of the best Thai food that I've ever eaten. So far, I've had the Tom Yum soup, Drunken Noodles, and the Spicy Basil w/chicken and all were delicious. My wife said she loved her dishes as well. Service was very good too. We will definitely be back!

Delicious Thai food. Beautiful Dining set up inside. Great customer service. I ordered Fried Pompano with steamed vegetables and rice. It was delicious and definitely will come back.

Decent menu of Asian favorites. Variety of curry dishes, with various additions, e.g.: shrimp & veg in sauce is okay. Beef w/ veg in soup was nothing special. The crab Rangoon's were just "Rangoon's" sans the crab; and, although Cute looking, were overcooked. Service is excellent. Dining area is a bit tight, but accommodating. Parking lot is mostly what you'd expect at the beach.

Family owned and operated! Food and service are superb! The place was packed as soon as the doors opened for lunch.
