Update 8/6/24- changed from 3 stars to 5. We visited again this weekend and only 2 machines were out of order. I'm glad they got them repaired, my kids have so much fun playing all of the games.
We visit the arcade every time we come to the beach which is pretty often. Lately it seems like each time we visit there are more and more games that are not working. That's especially frustrating if it's busy and kids are all having to wait to play the only few games that are working.

We visit Tropical Treats every year when we visit Oak Island. Their service is always top notch and the employees are always kind and attentive. The kids love trying the samples to decide which flavor they want. We'll continue our yearly tradition of visiting.

Decided to grab some ice cream and some chocolate before they closed. Super friendly. Didn’t try to rush us out while they were trying to close. Definitely will be back. Great job staff!!

Awesome shop!!!!!! The service staff really needs to either wear gloves when they serve/scoop/pick up cones, or AND wash their hands handling money and cards. The "chocolate dipped" cone was dipped in regular chocolate syrup instead of the convention 'hardening' chocolate...... Which ran down the cone and made a BIG MESS. ...... but other than that it was a cool experience being in a ole school ice cream shop,

This place has the best fudge selection on the whole shopping strip. I highly recommend the dark chocolate coconut, peanut butter fudge swirl, and chocolate chip cookie dough. The girls working were also very friendly and provided quick service.

Nice service but worst fudge I have ever tasted in my life. I took one bite and couldn't continue. I got the Reese's peanut butter flavor. It tasted like whatever sanitizer they use in the shop. The shop is very cute, but please fix this issue with the fudge!! I'm not sure if it was spoiled or old or what, but it tasted awful!

Small little store but staff was friendly and I was pretty excited to see dipping dots. I hadn't had those since century three Mall was open and as a teen at Kennywood so I was pretty excited (it doesn't take much). Free parking and the lot is a shared lot with various stores.

This is a cute ice cream shop with lots of options. I got chocolate dip n dots and a frozen chocolate and sprinkle covered banana. Both were good.
