Every year at OIB we conclude with a shrimp boil. Great when the rental house has the pots you need. One year it didn't, but Island Seafood came to the rescue. They steamed the shrimp for us - what a blessing. Every year since we don't care what pots our house has, we save the time and hassle and ask Island Seafood to do it for us. Family owned. They were so friendly and extremely helpful, they explained the bushel, ½ bushel, and a peck. We purchased the ½ bushel. We explained our situation, as the oysters we bought needed to be in the car for 5 hours or so. We brought in a large disposable cooler, the wonderful young lady that was helping us went the extra mile to assure that the oysters would survive the trip.
