I had the best Dark Lager I have ever had. The atmosphere is great. I enjoy coming here whenever I come to Ocracoke.

Great beers, great location, upstairs deck is perfect to watch a sunset from while sipping beers that are hitting the mark. We tried three, from the Kolsch to the Dark Lager to the Rye Ale. 5 stars. If you love Ocracoke Island and love great beer, you need to visit.

Very interesting flavors of Brew that are crafted right here on the island. The only complaint I had was I gave the bar keep $50 bill and received a change back for a $20 bill. My Tab was $15.50 of which she gave me $4.50 out of $50 bill. When I brought it to her attention she did not count cash drawer but immediately gave me the correct change. I'm sure it could have been an honest mistake :-)

An amazing place to spend our last day in the Outer Banks. The beer was wide and varied, but above all, delicious. As was the food! And a big shout-out to the bartender Charles, for the great conversation. Thank you.

I stopped into 1718 Brewery with my parents as part of spending a day on Ocracoke. They have an expansive dining area with plenty of beers to choose from. The bartender guided me in selecting beers for my five-glass flight. The names sounded attractive. I needed her to tell me each beer's signature flavor notes before I commit. I'm a picky drinker. I like craft beers with unique palates. See the picture I attached for what I got on my flight. My favorite is the Pretty Work Kölsch. My dad liked it too. We bought a crowler to take back to our place in Hatteras.

I really cannot express how wonderful this place is. Amazing Beer, Amazing Atmosphere, and Food is on point. The beer selection is not only varied each beer I have had here has been top notch. Don't go to Ocracoke and not go to 1718

Dropped by a little long for wear after last night's romp and was greeted by a great bartender that took great care of us and our quadra ped (dog). Went above and beyond welcoming us inside and producing a bow of water and a flight of locally brewed treats. Going to put this on our radar for earlier in the visit for a fresh kidney to sample a few more of their pints. Thank you again, shall return.
Beer was excellent. Food onsite was delicious. Friendly staff. I will stop by if on island again. Great place to hang out and drink with friends.
