The atmosphere is great. It’s not really a dinner spot. I would recommend going for a snack and drink. We went for dinner. The Zucchini and Carrot noodle dish was disappointing, not that good. Definitely too expensive for what you get in that dish.I would not recommend it. The cheese curds were good. Fish and chips okay ,chips were stale but the fish was good. Love the atmosphere and decor.

First of all you must walk up to counter and place your own order. charge a tip for "kitchen" staff at time of ordering prior to receiving ANY service. Was served on paper plates and plastic utensils, salads were served in plastic containers. For a table of 5 we were charged $150. Way overpriced for Ocracoke. Food/service was not worth the price

Terrible, size terrible price! So not worth it, search somewhere else unless you like throwing your money for miserable small amounts of food but a bunch a money plus the flavor was not good either. I order stake taco it’s like lit I went to the worst Taco Bell everrr, had no size and it was 18dlrs hahaha then my husband ordered chips and fish just there 26dlrs no sides other than pickles hahaha and two small so not tasty fried fish TWO and a bit of salad but 26!!! Omg for that I can get way more and really tasty stuff! Definitely never would return. My visit was 10/16/2024, responding to the owner’s concern. He is like doesn’t match your “description” it does so, I know my bank knows I ate there. Don’t come here!

We got the jumbo pretzel with beer cheese which was incredible. The bartender informed us the beer cheese is one of the house beers they have and it was delicious. We also had their bacon cheeseburger and kids cheese burgers both with homemade chips. The chips I had were a little stale but overall tasted very fresh! We loved the atmosphere and sat right at the bar.

Parking: Easily able to park with ample spaces.

Kid-friendliness: Plenty of kids were here as well! An easy place to have fun for everyone.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room on the inside with a nice ramp on the outside.

Ahoy, fellow adventurers! ?‍☠️? During my recent visit to the historic Ocracoke Island, home to the legendary pirate Blackbeard, I discovered a true culinary treasure: Plum Point Kitchen, located inside the 1718 Brewery.

Plum Point Kitchen is a scratch kitchen that takes pride in its craft, chopping fresh veggies and preparing everything in-house. Their Thursday steak nights feature hand-cut ribeyes that are simply phenomenal. The house special is a must-try: a giant pretzel with a deluxe version topped with crab meat and cheese. Their world-class smoker slow-cooks a variety of meats, delivering barbecue, ribs, and chicken wings that are the peak of perfection. The salad was so crisp and fresh, it was hard to believe it wasn't straight out of the garden!

Parking is plentiful, and you’ll find counter service with the food counter on the left and the brewery on the right. They offer both indoor seating and a dog-friendly, covered patio area for outdoor dining.

Don’t miss out on the homemade desserts from local bakers in the nearby village of Ocracoke; the key lime pie is fantastically phenomenal! And for those who love to take home a souvenir, their logo is great, and they have some excellent merch in the back.

STOP what you’re doing, and come here!! Amazing drink selection. Great staff. Awesome food. Amazing atmosphere inside and outside including the rooftop area! Upstairs there is a couch area and t.v. With plenty of seating. Can’t wait to come back every year.

Fish tacos were good. Homemade chips were delicious! However, y’all need to quit advertising a half pound burger! The ‘burger’ was about the consistency of dry meatloaf. I would guess that it’s probably 5 ounces burger 3 ounces filler. It would’ve been really much better to have a 6 ounce burger! Barely three stars overall…. The beer was great if that counts!
