We have been coming to Ocracoke for 23 years, we have always visited The Slushy Stand every night of our stay. This trip they were closed for 5 nights with no notice. Finally opened on 6th night to lock the door at 6:40 with my kids at the door when they show closing at 8. Get it together and at least update your website and social media as to not let customers down!!!
We just drove through pouring rain to get to Slushy Stand so my granddaughter could get a slushy. It was 45 minutes until closing. She gets to door and it was locked. The workers looked at her (soaking wet) and started laughing and would not let her in.

The Slushy Stand in Ocracoke is a favorite spot for many visitors. They offer delicious and reasonably priced ice cream that you can't miss.
