George's Oxford Village Family Restaurant

My wife and I stopped by for an early supper before heading back to Boydton, Va. We were greeted by all three individuals at the counter. They all were smiling and very polite. A hostess greeted us and took us to our table. Raelyn was our server. She was smiling, very welcoming, and very efficient. My wife had the Rueben on Texas Toast, and I had the Philly Steak Sub. Both plates arrived at the table well merchandised. They look like they had jumped off the menu! Several other servers and other restaurant employees walked by our table. If we made eye contact, every one of them smiled and spoke to us. We did not wait long for our meals. The meals came out quickly, and everything was temperature appropriate. It was a great dining experience! Raelyn was a fantastic server! George's would definitely be worth the drive from Boydton, Va for a dinner option.

My wife, Son in law, daughter in law and myself stopped for n early dinner in George's. The food was excellent. The staff was friendly. The restaurant was clean. The best part was our server Maria. Professional, friendly, engaging, courteous and had a wonderful personality. I believe your server in any restaurant can make or break your meal. Maria made it a 5 star evening. Tasty local fare. Place was super busy when I visited but the help was very personable and was cognizant of greeting customers and helping them as soon as possible. The pizza I received was fresh, hot and tasted great. My server in the bar area was wonderful.

It was a very busy Father's Day lunch with large groups. The staff worked together to get our order taken and the service was very good. The food was good and enjoyable. It was pretty loud inside with young kids testing out their lungs.

There for Fathers Day, wonderful wait staff, food, and atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Waitress was wonderful but I did not get my food until my family had already eaten and I understand we were a big party but I was told I was going to get a discount for the wait and only received $1.62 discount and that was not cool

Great family friendly atmosphere. The staff were friendly and Nicole, our waitress was wonderful. She was attentive, patient and she made our experience enjoyable. The food was delicious! I'm definitely visiting George's again!

Ordered takeout and the customer service was great. I got a pizza and it was okay but it was premade dough and I paid $17 for a large and I could have gotten a frozen pizza the would have been just as good.

Solid food, good prices, I go on a regular basis. Not fine dining, but causal and comfortable, good portions, I’ve never left hungry

Great service, great food. Adorable place! We stopped on our way through during a road trip and it was just what we needed.
