George's Oxford Village Family Restaurant

We placed a rather large order for Super Bowl Sunday, not only was everything in our order correct, but the staff were all so kind and helpful. The food was beyond delicious and we can't wait to come back. George's is definitely going to be our go-to restaurant when we come to Oxford.

Amazing! Went with a large group of people waitress was Great! Food was delicious! very clean. I don't live near by but I'm most certainly going back. Ordered chicken with cream sauce and mushrooms yummy.

We have stopped here a few times because I love the stromboli and pizza. We went this evening with the grandkids to get pizza. I had the mozzarella sticks, which were the best I've ever had, larger than the usual size and great cheesy texture. Family size pizza, the crust is the perfect texture, crisp, but soft and the sauce is so good. Honestly my favorite pizza now!! My man had the calamari, said it was good not his favorite, but still good.
Johnathan was our server, we didn't have to ask for anything during our entire visit. Jonathan was on top of it!! You know he is a good server when one of the grandkids makes the comment, 'Even the service is great'. Definitely a keeper.
Overall this place is a must visit when you are craving some Italian.

We had a large party of 13 and they were able to accommodate all of us in short notice. They were great about it. The food was great too and very fairly priced, nice food options, the Greek salad was very good and nice beer options. Highly recommend.

Came here during lunch- haven’t been in the building since it was a Pizza Hut.

Brittany was our server. She was busy and she was fantastic! The food was quite good American fare!

We ordered two personal pizzas and a kids spaghetti. The spaghetti was so small that it barely could feed my toddler (the kids spaghetti used to be triple the size than what we were served ). The personal pizzas were less than 6 inches in size and they were cold. We were seated in the bar area and they did not have a bartender so our waiter was the bartender and we had to wait on him to serve in order to get anything we needed. They have changed their menu so much over the years they took away salads with pasta dishes, they decreased portion sizes dramatically, and they’ve increased prices significantly.

This was my first visit to George's; what a pleasant surprise tucked away in Oxford, NC. The entire staff was pleasant adding to the positive vibes atmosphere. If you want a meal like home, George's is the place to go!

Update: My order was wrong. I made a mistake ordering. I ordered a wonderful wrap and didnt realize it contained a food which is off limits. Messed up my whole meal. Not the fault of the server, or the house. It was 100% customer fail. I failed to see that I cant consume a common item that most everyone else in the world can. I didnt need additional accomodations for my mistake. I was actually more concerned for my health.

They were hearin none of it. They promptly entered an adjusted order to the kitchen. About took my breath away discovering how sincerely they wanted me to enjoy my meal, even though it was I who sabotaged my chamces of that happening.

Georges, their staff and their customers are some of the finest folks youll ever meet.

The rest of my previous review stands untarnished. Even after 5 years.

Just ate here again. OmG, get the chicken scallopine. It is incredible. Just had to add this cause I never tried it and if you like perfectly cooked chicken and heavenly flavors go there now and ask for this before they change the menu.
