“Several years ago we lost Carolina Beer Temple in Steele Creek and never thought we’d find something just as good again. The vibe is super chill and staff is very friendly!

“Visited Matthews, NC few days ago and had lunch here. The food was awesome (I had Jalapeno Poppers and Peter Piper burger), and so was the beer selection (I had a really good blonde ale (cannot recall the name unfortunately)). Service was great, and washrooms were clean. The place has a really cool vibe to it, looks like one would feel at home there while watching sports on one of the many screens.“

“We love Edge City! It's a perfect neighborhood brewery. It's great for families and offers prosecco, wine, etc in addition to beer. We held our daughter's birthday there and they were so accommodating and all the staff was incredibly helpful. It was a perfect indoor outdoor option!!“

“Stable Hand was a cool, upscale coffee shop! I just got a black coffee, which is admittedly hard to screw up, but it was still pretty good, the staff was friendly, and the ambiance was very unique, even for the standards of coffee shops. I don’t if it’s the kind of coffee shop that I would go to to study, but I’d love to meet some friends there sometime. Would recommend!“

“We had an amazing networking event last night! The atmosphere at Protagonist was perfect for our event they had a full AV system which was incredibly helpful. The staff was so accommodating and welcoming. Our guests had a great time! We’ll definitely be back!“

“Great hangout location! They have a wide selection of beers/wines on draft, craft beers, and ciders. Based on the bartenders recommendation, I ordered the Prosciutto flatbread which was delicious. I loved the pickled chillies!

“We had lunch there today for the first time. The service was outstanding. Our server was so friendly and informative about the menu. We sat on the inside but the outdoor patio looked like a great option as well. Everything was very clean. We had the ribeye sandwich and the jalapeño popper bacon grilled cheese sandwich. They were both excellent but… That grilled cheese! If you go there, you’ve got to order that. It was out of this world good and just the right amount of spicy.“

We frequent the Foxhole often simply because Janet and David are some of the best bartenders around. “I went to Hobo's last night for a friend's birthday. We sat outside for karaoke. I have wanted to sing karaoke for awhile but I've always been way too nervous!! DJ Swin (please tag him!) did such an awesome job at hyping up the audience AND the singers! it didn't matter what your singing ability was he made you feel great about getting up there! People were being silly and having fun which is what karaoke is all about! So when my hubby asked me to sing with him I did! I got up there and actually had a lot of fun. So thank you for hosting this and thank you to DJ Swin for making this a really welcoming event! We'll be back!“
