Found a piece of metal in my sandwich after eating half of it. We took it back and were denied a refund. Found out the metal shaving was due to a scouring pad/steel wool. Very dangerous

El Chapala has became one of my families local frequent must goes. The staff are very nice, super energized and no lie you get your food so so fast.. Speaking of the food. There isn't one thing from there that I have had that hasn't been amazingly delicious..

This restaurant is absolutely amazing. The staff are kind and quick, the atmosphere is fun and clean. If it is someone's birthday they will come out and sing and make a big deal if you want them to. Homemade salsa and chips are brought out when you sit down-- it's so tasty it could be slurped by the vat. The management treats people like family and they are amazing at recognizing folks. This place has been here for decades and is a staple in the community, but it looks new. It even still has the old fashioned 25 cent gumball and chicklet machines by the door that kids love. Festive, well decorated, clean. The food is delicious. Try everything.

I'm not much of a Mexican food eater but this restaurant is fairly consistent the food is about average in my opinion but like I said I'm not much on Mexican food the staff is very friendly and service is normally fast
