I’m not a local and was traveling through to see a customer who has relocated to this area. I passed by Al’s Diner and thought I have to stop in for lunch on my way back. Man, am I sure glad I did!!! The food was AMAZING and exactly what I was hoping for. The homemade chips were spot on with fantastic ranch for dipping. If you are from the south, you know how important good ranch is. We came in for a Saturday breakfast. Loved the vintage diner look, the staff was awesome and so friendly. We found out how to make "white-pepper gravy" . The food was excellent, the coffee was hot. Loved the experience of Als, got the t-shirt, but We Will Be Back. Definitely.

I have visited this restaurant since 1983 and it has always been the same delicious homestyle menu and excellent service at reasonable prices. Had breakfast there yesterday and highly recommend the toasted biscuits.
