This was my third and probably last trip to the Belted Goat. When the same thing happens on three consecutive visits, it's more than coincidence. Despite the fact that I gave them a valid phone number on each visit, I never received a text message telling me my order was ready. After waiting a long time before approaching the pickup window, the order was ready, waiting and cold when I got there.
I'll stick to restaurants with table service. Food at the Belted Goat is no bargain and not worth the hassle.

Cozy spot for breakfast and lunch as well as bakery items. Be sure to visit the wine store downstairs!

Food was good and all but my credit card was charged twice. I am a tourist and left NC but I have been trying to find a way to contact the restaurant but the number found on google doesn’t work, there is no email, no instagram, the number for Farrington village is a wrong number. !!?!??

light breakfast and coffee. It's not bad but doesn't knock my socks off either. Minimalist menu which is why I rotate places.

This is a nice place with a good ambience and nice looking food as others have mentioned. However I came in to get a latte and was very disappointed. They have an expresso machine and appear to be doing the right things but the result is more like thin drip coffee and lacks the rich texture of an expresso drink. Should be apparent from the pressure reading on the machine when making the coffee that it is too low. Could be the grind setting not fine enough, or the type of coffee grounds.

Love coming for the Saturday free wine tastings at adjoining wine bar. Food is delicious and fresh, it's a pick up service if you want to dine outside. Got to get there early if you want a table for a group!

Overpriced and limited selection of food. Drinks leave much to be desired. The chai has no flavor and the cappuccino tastes like cardboard. Disappointing development of this place since years back, used to be a great brunch spot.

Really disappointed in how hard shrinkflation hit this place. As a few people recently mentioned, prices for what you get are insane.

Check out this size of this $4 scone after tax, not including the tip they ask for. They used to be literally twice the size... they shrunk them a few weeks back. The staff even comented on how small the portions in general have become. You can get better value elsewhere.

Want a sandwich for lunch? 16$. Side of fries? 8$. It's getting crazy.
