They are the kindest people and their food is Authentic and fantastic.Even the OBX restaurant owners come there to enjoy their food as well. Once you try them you will be back.

Food is delicious! Prices are super reasonable? The place is decorated like you're sitting in another country, very authentic. Service was great. Our server checked on us often. Only issue was she didn't bring us water refills and we didn't ask. One thing to note is that they do NOT have alcohol. I wanted a margarita bad but just had water. The guacamole was fresh and a very generous portion. Chips are complimentary but the menu says they charge after the first basket. My tostada order came with 3 full sized tostadas: crunchy corn tortilla topped with beans, lettuce, pico and some sort of powder cheese. Their salsa is excellent. We do pickup on the chips and salsa when we drive in to the island. They are about 3 miles from the bridge.

Great food, a few order issues, but think it was the server not understanding. Family friendly atmosphere.Vegetarian options: I'm a pescatarian and like the rice, beans, cheese fruit and veggies with shrimp. Would love to see other seafood on the menu. There's good local fish around here.

Floutas!! No place ever has Floutas!! I did not even need to read the rest of menu. Yummy!!Husband always gets carne de lengua tacos when he can. Another excellent dish. For dessert, Churros...we took to go and skipped the ice cream. We ordered 3 orders because noone can eat just one or two churros.I forgot to mention (H)orchata and Jamaica for drinks. ??And then of course, our server, Andre... an awesome possum human!!!Kid-friendliness: No Alcohol is served. Nice size booth tables for high chairs.

The food was good and prices for the food were fair. I did a to-go order and for to-go I don’t tip especially if it’s a small order. The next day the account I used to pay with was now in the negative because they decided to tip themselves $2 when I wrote 0 and the amount. $2 is not a big deal and they probably thought it would go unnoticed but it caused me to overdraft because I only transfer the money I need into the account. I never have extra in there. It’s the principle. The food is great but now I question their integrity and will not be going back. I was only trying them out to take my family there on my birthday. Now I won’t be going back no matter if the food is good. PAY WITH CASH or take a picture of your receipt after you pay.

Drove over from Duck because of the reviews I read, so I felt compelled to add my own review. Was not disappointed! I had the Burrito California and it was excellent! The staff were very friendly & the place was clean. Very good experience. Will definitely visit again whenever I’m on the OBX!
