Most likely one of the best family restaurants in this entire area! Food is always delicious, home cooked, staff are always friendly, clean and very helpful. The decisions are endless and the choice you make is always satisfying. The only choice or thing that I would ask change would be that they were open more hours so that I would have more opportunities to eat at the restaurant more than I already do. Lillards Family Restaurant is considered one of the best family restaurants in the area. The food is always delicious, home cooked, and cooked to order. It is home style cooking to the extreme, with a huge selection of foods for breakfast and lunch. The menu has so many choices, and the food is real food, not fake food. Breakfast is better than lunch for some, with meals like a fried chicken biscuit with bacon and hot, fresh coffee available. Fridays are fish days, and the hot bar is always a treat, with an assortment of chicken gizzards when available. Desserts are made fresh daily by a local, with an assortment of pies and cakes. The staff are always friendly, clean, and very helpful. The building is cozy, small, and fairly crowded but clean and homey. The restrooms are always clean. Food prices are great, with a meal being approximately ten bucks. The only downside is the restaurant is only open Monday-Friday for breakfast and lunch, with limited seating. The A/C vent leaked condensation on one table during a visit.
