My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Abyssinia immensely last week. We moved from Boston recently where we had excellent Ethiopian cuisine and have been searching for great Ethiopian fare locally since our move to Raleigh. Abyssinia did not disappoint. So delicious! Everything is prepared fresh, and the portions are generous enough to take leftovers for lunch the next day (re-heats really well btw). Plan to come back regularly and split a tibs and a veggie combo with my husband. This is my absolute favorite find in Raleigh!

I was a little worried when we walked in and the restaurant was completely empty, but the food and service both turned out to be great! I had the kitfo very rare, with red lentils, and the spiced coffee and everything was absolutely delicious. The other members of my group also enjoyed their food. I'll be coming back soon!
