I like the fact there is a fast drive-through, and some of their food is good. They would do so much better if they filtered their water for the ice tea so that it doesn't taste like dirt, and please serve real fries... Not fries that are covered in batter like donuts. Thanks.

The food doesn't fit the name of the establishment. When I think of backyard burgers, I'm thinking flamed grilled burgers (there's even a flame in the name ). The burger was okay. I got the #5, the Bacon Cheddar, and it's $12 and some change!!! It comes with bacon, cheddar cheese, mayo, pickles, red onions, lettuce (very green and leafy, love), tomatoes, ketchup and mustard. I enjoyed the condiments and burger bun more than the actual patty because the patty could use some seasoning. The fries were so good. They were crispy on the outside and well seasoned and fluffy on the inside. My husband got the Southwest BBQ meal (#7) and in his words, " I enjoyed the fries better than the burger." Now for $26 for two meals that's not large size, I would expect the main attraction, the burger, to be amazing. The person who took our order was very nice.

I went to Backyard Burger for the first time on March 17, 2024. I went to the Raleigh, NC location on Strickland. I read the reviews ahead of time and some of the reviews weren't very good so I was interested to see what I would find. I got a Black and Bleu burger and large fries to go via the drive thru so I can't comment about the atmosphere of the interior. But I think it was the BEST burger I've ever had. This burger comes with bacon and sometimes the bacon on burgers is fatty and not crisp but the bacon on this burger was excellent...very little fat and cooked to perfection. The hamburger patty was very delicious too and both the burger and fries were hot like they had just been cooked. I will definitely go back again. It had a generous portion of bleu cheese, crisp lettuce, a nice slice of ripe tomato, etc. The drive thru was about normal. I was behind three cars when I ordered and it took about 5 minutes for the first car to get their food but the second car got their food in 30 seconds or less and I got mine that quickly too. So all in all I have nothing but praise for this place.

Haven't visited in years, not in the area anymore. The burgers are still big and juicy as I remember!The seasoned fries were great, discontinued waffle fries ?. It is worth every dollar spent. They also sell variety of cobblers (my favorite is blackberry).
Ate here on Monday. Had the Mushroom Burger with Onion rings. Ate inside restaurant. Staff was great, service was quick. Food was hot and excellent.

I ordered the Black and Blue combo. It was 10:30 since I like to eat an early lunch. The meal was basically ok except for the beef patty which is the most important part of the meal. The patty was very dry and not hot. Needless to say, I was very disappointed considering the cost. I wouldn’t recommend going here considering the cost.
Wow...this place got expensive and the food just so so....15 bucks for a cheeseburger...Get out of Here !!! RIP OFF ...

Went here for the first time in a long time. Ordered a double cheeseburger meal, nothing major. But MAN, service has gone downhill. First off, I had to wait 15 minutes for my food, even though there was no one else in line. Then, when I finally got my burger, it didn't even have the right kind of cheese I asked for. THEN, I checked my receipt and realized that they charged me for an extra pair of fries and drink. Good food, but ridiculous service.
