I’ve tried many things from this bakery. The last thing I’ve had is the tres leches. It was absolutely phenomenal. It’s run by a wife and her husband. They’re both really nice and you can taste their kindness in their pastries. Highly recommend!

They gave us an enormously moldy Oreo cake!!! DO NOT BUY HERE. They had mislabeled food and moldy desserts!! Absolutely horrendous - and it was a series of pastries for my daughters birthday no less. Turned my afternoon into a food poisoning nightmare!! They offered to replace it and I REFUSED - I don’t need any other moldy gross food in my child’s stomach.

Went here as we felt nostalgic missing our Columbian bakery in NY. Had the Columbian empanada, very good. The owner was very nice and even gave me a card to order cakes etc. She asked me to come back sometime for coffee, very sweet ? We will definitely return.

Bakery has awesome hours and a kind lady to serve, however, the tiramisu is not tiramisu! A soggy cake with an abundancent of cinnamon. ??? I threw the rest out!!!Their flaky crust sweets are good and great quality! ?

Valentine's Day, lazy husband. Need carrot cake. And it's SUNDAY!So I start the usual Google Maps search looking for open bakeries on a Sunday. Called several places that were open with no luck for carrot cake. By chance found Balcazar, open, but they didn't have any carrot cake. Never fear, they offered to make one and turn it around in 1.5 hours! I was assured the baker made excellent carrot cake. As you can see, I had very little choice but to go with this option. So I place the order and tell the wife we have success! (with fingers crossed)I arrived right on time to pick up the cake (6p sharp). The very nice lady that took my order over the phone was excited to see me. She even wanted to take a picture of me with the cake before I left. She was very sweet (pun intended). Ok, that's all well and good, but was the cake good? My wife and I both LOVE carrot cake, and know not every carrot cake is created equal. Such is the case with this one. IT WAS DELICIOUS! We may have to drive past 10 other bakeries to get to Balcazar, but I guarantee we'll be back!

Best Colombian pastry chef, unfortunately there are not many Colombians in the triangle and the chef needs to have his business going so it is catered more to Central America... it does needs marketing and a better location. Colombia’s are very picky... we need to be together and help each other, when I first moved to NC 12 year’s ago.. I found him! A little of mi tierrra.. don’t understand why he is not been help more from the community. We will fix that.
