“Good selection of beers on tap or in can, including a house IPA. The inside dining room is small and outdated, but the balcony overlooking the lake is where it's at. Additionally, I have tried several dishes (pizza, Philly cheese steak, Rachel) and all of them are top notch.“

“Thanksgiving for dinner, my daughter and son-in-law took me to The Pickled Onion at Wakefield. It was their first time as well as my first time eating here. I had a ribeye steak (medium well) with baked potato and salad, It was cooked to perfection and tender. My son-in-law got wings, my daughter got stuffed jalapeños and a salad. They also really enjoyed their food. As far as service goes, we were checked on often to see if we needed refills or needed anything. First experience here could not have been any better. Will definitely be going back.“

“I LOVE the short Rib Grilled Cheese!!!! Consistently delicious. Tender, delicious meat with good cheese, on really good toasted bread, served with fries.I make two meals out of it. I eat 1 half of the delicious sandwich and the fries. Then later the second half.“

“I have stayed at this property many times but feel the need for some freshness as its begining to look tired. The food menu is very limited and could do with some new items. he staff at the front desk were not as welcoming as have been in the past.“

“Great place great music. It’s an after spot so it get lit after the clubs let out. We ordered wings, macaroni & cabbage to go & when we got home to eat our food the food was good but very very salty we couldn’t even finish it. We paid $15+ for some high blood pressure food that we couldn’t even eat what a waist.“

“I just relocated to Garner from Durham and wanted a quick meal after the move was done. I can't say enough great things about Kickback Jack's! Service was attentive and the food was spectacular! “I had an amazing time at Lucky B’s (609 Tucker St, Raleigh) on 5/5/25. The music was nothing but bangers, and I was dancing my tail off all night with a bunch of female grads.
I ordered a Liquid Marijuana and a cranberry vodka, and both were great drinks to keep the party going.
If you want a spot with great energy, fun crowd, and non-stop dancing, this is the place to be. Highly recommend“

“If you come to Raleigh and don’t go to Woody’s @ City Market, you’re doing the city wrong. Woody’s is a Raleigh institution. Like sweet tea, traffic on Capital, or overhearing arguments everywhere you go about Duke/Carolina/State, it’s just part of the culture.
The mango habanero wings? Life-changing. I could write poems about those wings. The staff is awesome, the atmosphere is exactly what a neighborhood sports bar should be, and the experience is consistently great. Hands down the best place to watch sports in Raleigh. The TV setup is perfect.
Do yourself a favor: go to Woody’s. Eat the mango habanero wings. Thank me later.“
